What is RAMS AI?
RAMS AI is a cloud-based platform built by United Applications Ltd that helps construction professionals create Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) along with other safety documents. It uses AI to speed up the writing process while keeping everything aligned with UK CDM 2015 regulations.
Who is RAMS AI designed for?
The platform is designed for principal contractors, subcontractors, site managers, health and safety officers, and anyone responsible for producing construction safety documentation in the UK.
Do I need any special software or hardware to use RAMS AI?
No. RAMS AI runs entirely in your web browser, so you can use it on any computer, laptop, or tablet with an internet connection. There is nothing to install.
Is RAMS AI compliant with UK regulations?
Yes. Every template and AI suggestion is aligned with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) and UK health and safety best practice. The platform's hazard library is based on recognised UK standards.

What types of documents can I create?
RAMS AI supports five core document types: RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements), Construction Phase Plans (CPP), COSHH Assessments, Toolbox Talks, and Site Inductions. How does the AI help me write documents?
The AI can generate method statement content based on the work activities you describe, suggest relevant hazards and control measures, check your document for inconsistencies, and recommend appropriate permits. You remain in full control and can edit everything the AI produces.
Can I reuse content across multiple documents?
Yes. Documents are organised under jobs and clients, so you can build up a library of work over time. The hazard library lets you save custom items for quick reuse across future documents.
How does digital sign-off work?
When your document is ready, you can collect digital signatures from operatives. They draw their signature directly on a phone or tablet screen, removing the need for printed paperwork. Signed-off documents are locked and stored as a permanent record.
Can I export or print my documents?
Yes. All documents can be exported as professionally formatted PDFs that are ready for submission to clients, principal contractors, or regulatory bodies. You can also download free blank templates to fill in by hand.
Is RAMS AI free to use?
RAMS AI offers a free plan that lets you create a limited number of documents each month. If you need more documents or access to premium modules like CPP and COSHH, you can upgrade to the Basic or Pro plan.
What plans are available?
There are four plans: Free (limited documents, RAMS only), Basic (more documents, plus Toolbox Talks), Pro (all modules including CPP, COSHH, and Site Inductions, plus team features), and Enterprise (custom limits and dedicated support). Can I change or cancel my plan at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Billing is handled securely through Stripe, and you can manage your subscription through the Stripe customer portal.
How are document credits counted?
A document credit is consumed only when you complete the final sign-off on a document. You can create and edit as many drafts as you like without using any credits.
Can multiple people work on the same account?
Yes. Pro and Enterprise plans include team features that let you invite colleagues to your organisation. You can manage seats and configure access levels for each team member.
Is there a limit on team members?
The number of team seats depends on your plan. Pro plans include a set number of seats, while Enterprise plans offer custom seat limits to match your organisation's needs.
How does document sharing work?
Documents can be shared within your organisation. The platform tracks who created and last edited each document, and includes an audit log so you always know what changed and when.
Is my data secure?
Yes. RAMS AI uses industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure session management, and database-level encryption. We never share your data with third parties.
Do you offer two-factor authentication?
Yes. Two-factor authentication (2FA) using authenticator apps is available on Pro and Enterprise plans for an extra layer of account security.
Where is my data stored?
